The government approved a new batch of emergency aid 2021, to help the most vulnerable families during the Covid-19 pandemic. The value is no longer the same as in 2020, this year the value of the plots decreased, and families underwent a new analysis.

What is emergency aid

O Emergency aid is a benefit granted by the Federal Government, intended for families that have informal workers, people enrolled in the MEI (Individual Microentrepreneurs), self-employed and unemployed people.

This benefit is a way to provide emergency protection in the period of facing the crisis, caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Who is entitled to aid?

According to the new rules, families whose total income is up to three minimum wages per month will receive, as long as the income per person in the household is less than half a minimum wage. Families registered in the Bolsa Família program will receive the most valuable aid.

Example: If the value of the Bolsa Família benefit is greater than the value of the aid, it will maintain the value of the Bolsa Família, otherwise, the amount will be emergency aid.

How will payment be made?

For families that already receive the Bolsa Família, it continues in the same way that they already receive the benefit. For the others, registered in the Single Registry, or those who registered through the website or app, it will be done through the digital savings account of the box, which can be operated by the Caixa Tem App.

The government will not open registrations for this new phase in the program, the selections to see who will receive, will be made from those already registered in the program in 2020, and will only receive those who do not got emergency aid denied or cancelled.

What is the value of the installments?

The value will vary according to the beneficiary's profile, but the average value is R$ 250.00, ranging from R$ 150.00 to R$ 375.00, depending on the composition of each beneficiary family.

To check if you are entitled or not to emergency aid, as of April 2, consultations can be made through the website of the DATAPREV or through the channels of CASHIER, that are: auxilio.caixa.gov.br or by phone 111.

What documents do I need to receive?

Beneficiaries who are already in the single registration, or those who registered on the program's website or application, need to be registered and up to date with their Individual Taxpayer Registration (CPF).

For those who are already part of the Bolsa Família, no document is needed, as they will receive it in the same account as the program.

HOW TO REGULARIZE CPF

To find out if your CPF is regularized, just go to the IRS, simple and easy to consult. Just put your CPF, date of birth and click that you are not a robot, then click on consult.

A proof of registration status will be issued in the CPF, if your registration status is regular, is within the compliant, otherwise, look for the body responsible for it.

For workers who are part of the Single Registry, and for those who registered through the program's website or application, payment started on April 6th.

For those who receive the Bolsa Família, the first installment began on April 16.

who can already withdraw

Born in August, who are not enrolled in the Bolsa Família program, the installment is now available on the Caixa Tem app and available for withdrawals and transfers.
